This album reviews the training of students from Siam (Thailand), India and Iraq prior to WWII and the significant training contribution made by the College SFTS to allied forces during WWII.

Following the war, the College resumed its Flight Cadet training scheme that occasionally included foreign students. However, with the centralisation of all officer training at Cranwell under the Single Gate Initial Officer Training scheme in 1979, the College considerably extended its reach as this album shows.
